Hi again - it is Wednesday, and Jeff had a lumbar epidural steroid injection this morning, so I have been pretty distracted all day (for those of you who attended the reunion party at Charlotte's, you will remember that Jeff was disabled and in an arm chair in charge of Major, the yellow lab.)
We can apparently have up to 100 "authors" on the blog, and since there are nowhere near 100 of us, let me know if any and all of you would like to be "authors." I don't know the details of how to do this just yet, but I will figure it out. I just now figured out how to disable the Hindi translation button, which was really screwing me up, although it might have been useful for Kim (namaste!). Sorry, Kim, if you want to post, it's going to have to be English.
Wish I could have figured this out before tonight's debates, but I didn't. I think this could be fun. I got started on this blogging thing by following Rex Parker's blog, www.rexwordpuzzle.blogspot.com. Rex solves the NYTimes crossword puzzle every day and posts it on his blog. I found Rex by googling for crossword answers. I know it's cheating, but the point is to defeat the crossword constructor.

OK Here goes. What the heck is a "Follower" of the Blog, since I now AM one? Got installed there accidently, I think, when I was poking around the various categories on the page. Are there any benefits to being a Follower? While I'm at it, what is a blog, anyway? If at all possible, I'll have Andy remove mine along with lipo my double chin while he's in there working on the shoulder. See you at Thanksgiving, Consuello!
Oh dear, curses, Robin! This reminds me of very disturbing dreams. I'm driving and I don't know where I'm going,or the steering is wonky or the car turns into a duck. I can't remember the dream. Just the sensation that I am in over my head and the terrain is unknown. The blog was so intimidating that I had to try it.But without the aid of spell-check this may possibly be my lone post.I loved seeing everybody at Charlotte's. After all these years everyone is still sweet verging in some instances on adorable and very interesting.I had a ball. I wish I could meet you at Joe T's. Debbie, leave your chin alone. It wouldn't look good on your shoulder.xoxo,HH
I've had that same set of dreams, though usually involving a mail truck! Please continue to post, Harriet...looked great to me, And spelling matters not. It was amazing to see everyone and you are absolutely precious! Might you be back at Thanksgiving to see Harry's family? If enough folks return, might be a good weekend for Joe T's as well. Somehow after the turkey and leftovers go on and on, mexican food really hits the spot.
There is a third "Follower" listed but I can't get FOLLOWERS to open to see who it is. DRAT this is as mystifying as Mr. Maddox's Flow Chart lesson at CDS. Only then I was able to pass Joanne a note and run from the room!
checking in.
it does work.
